As well known for their infamous feuding as for their ground-breaking punk rock work, Violent Femmes have been out of hiatus since 2013, and are ready to show the States why they are one of the best acts in punk, having released their ninth studio We Can Do Anything, the first since 2000's Freak Magnet. The California-based indie rockers are headed out on a national tour, in support of their third studio album Home of the Strange. First coming to widespread prominence in 2010, their debut album was recorded old-school style, with a focus on only recording material that they could faithfully recreate for a live audience. Having supported various acts through the last few years, this headlining tour is set to be a big pull for fans of SoCal indie rock.

Singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson is often lauded as Sweden's answer to Bob Dylan. His gravel-toned, heart-felt vocals and skill with an acoustic guitar evoke the spirit of the rambling planes and open roads of the Americana Folk tradition with a charming Indie twist. The free-wheeling troubadour now heads out on a tour of the US to support his project 'When The Bird Sees Solid Ground'. This new five-part series will see new tracks being released monthly with an accompanying video throughout 2018.
