JOE BONAMASSA RED ROCKS AUGUST 9, 2021

I drove 1700 miles to see Joe B.onamassa and his amazing band. I am a huge fan . I have the Joe Bonamassa DVD's Live at the Greek Theater and Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks. Those DVD's were amazing. I thought that was whatat LEAST some of what I was going to see. Instead the heart of the Band (Drummer Anton Fig) , was replaced by athe most lame drummer I have ever seen. or heard ever, NO horn section or harmonica at all, only 1 back up singer. He DIDN'T bring his entire band !! MADE A HUGH DIFFERENCE. i SAW A POOR SHOW, not ANYTHING like his amazing DVD's I am pissed that I drove 28 hours spent over $400+ for 2 tickets to see this. I am 63 years old, and have seen hundreds of concerts, Never wrote a review ever. . I cannot think of a time I showed up to a concert and half the band showed up. I would like to personally tell Joe Bonamassa how dissapointed this concert was. Bait and switch for sure.

Last night was a complete flop. The sound of the Ryman doors closing behind us on our way out was most gratifying. I believe the back-up band was totally embarrassed to share the same stage. You could see it in their eyes. We hope tonight's gig will be much improved for those who spent $200.00-$300.00 per seat. We believe refunds are in order. "Welcome back Joe"...

Love his music on albums, but this concert was so loud it was painful. You could not hear the singing and it was more noise than melody. After 20 minutes we had to leave, could not stand the vibration in my chest any longer. What a shame. Also did not play any of his "hit" songs while I was there, seems he was trying out new stuff. I won't be going again.

Awful. Terrible acoustics. Everyone just blasting…couldn’t make out words from a song if my life depended on it! Extremely overpriced for the quality of this show. Was this “a throw together” because it was your last concert after a 50 week road tour? Seems that it was!

I expected blues and got I don’t know. And the technical stuff at the Vegas show didn’t help. When a man I love is a blues singer doesn’t sing blues ye I’m disappointed.

TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY

The band needs to fire the guy running the sound board asap. Turning every instrument to 10 and blowing the audience away is not good for repeat business! Not only outrageously loud, but also very garbled. Sound guy must be deaf. Also, who thought it was a good idea to blind the crowed with frequent blinding lights. A total assault on the senses. ,
