Black Midi's Geordie Greep has kicked off his solo career proper, with the release of debut solo album The New Sound. Not content to rest on his laurels, Greep's decision to break out on his own with yet more genre-bending music has delighted fans, just as much as his music keeps them on their toes.

Coming to global renown as part of the experimental rock group Black Midi, Greep and his bandmates came up through the increasingly boundary-pushing South London music scene, centered around the grassroots Brixton Windmill venue in the late 2010s. Signing to Rough Trade Records, the group released three critically acclaimed albums including the Libera Award winning Hellfire, before announcing a hiatus in 2024. Don't miss your chance to catch him live!
