Witness jazz and opera meet in the boxing ring!
Pulitzer Prize and Tony award winner Michael Cristofer teams up with composer and one of today's greatest jazz trumpeters, Terence Blanchard - and stage director James Robinson. The combination of jazz and opera will meet in the boxing ring to create an account of mid 20th century forbidden love.
Emile Griffith, welter weight prize fighting champion, has his dreams become reality when his name soars to celebrity status. But when an accident occurs in the ring, there's a new title which Griffith will carry - Murderer.
