Fabulous acrobatics by superb athletes presented with drama and flair. Our party included two children, their parents and grandparents and we were unanimous in our praise and excitement. Most of us don't risk our health and lives doing our jobs. These performers do and they manage to convincingly signal their enthusiasm and craft. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. dramatic

KOOZA SF 4PM, 1-19
We’ve seen Cirque at least 6 times and it’s always wonderful. My 9 yr old granddaughter loved it, and that’s what mattered most to me. That said, at the intermission, they announced a “technical difficulty†would delay the start of the second half. The result was no use of the suspended “wheels of death†and a tedious drum solo (I’ve never had tolerance for drum solos, even when it was Keith Moon). All this with no explanation. Everyone could see the wheel rig hanging above the stage. I didn’t feel ill-used but would have appreciated a more straightforward sharing of why.

IT WAS JUST OKAY.
I was not really impressed with this show. There was no high wire act in the show I saw - though I was expecting to see some tight-rope walking. Also, I understood that there were 2
performers who balance and do tricks on the outside of the Wheel of Death. In the show I saw, only one performer did tricks on the outside of the wheel. The other performer stayed on the inside of
his end of the machine. I have seen other Cirque shows and this one was just okay. the acrobats and contortionists and dancers were all good, the costumes were well done, but the performers
seemed either tired or disinterested.

KOOZA ..VERY UNDERWHELMING
1/3 of the time was spent watching second rate clowns doing slap stick .
Very underwhelmed as were my 3 guests .
My thoughts , save your money !

SATURDAY APRIL 15
Went to Kooza in Toronto , was not so impressed . Got a little tired of watching two guys chasing a crown around and no one went on the wheel of death , action was a minimal bit boring - and $9 dollars for hotdog and $35 dollars to park

ACROBATICS 5/5, BUT TOO MUCH BORING FILLER MATERIAL.
First cirque show that I felt was not worth the money. The acrobatic performances were outstanding but unfortunately majority of the time was taken up with filler material from the mimes/clowns who were not the least bit funny or entertaining. For the price of the tickets I was expecting to see a full show of top notch acrobatics, instead half the show felt like cheap children's party entertainment.

KOOZA
This was the 4th or 5th circus du soleil that I have had the privilage to attend. I have loved all of the ones I have seen, Kooza has been my least favorite, and I definitely did not love it.
Kooza lacked the depth to the story that the previous shows had. The main character of the story just fumbled about looking confused. The decor was plain. A couple of the acts were boring and basic. It has great potential of being an amazing show, but really lacked the overall quality that Circus du Soleil is famous for.
Kooza did have some great acrobatic performances though.

AMAZING PERFORMERS, BUT IT LACKS THE ARTISTIC AND COHESIVE VISIóN THAT ENVELOPES THE ENTIRE NARRATIVE OF THE SHOW.
I have seen Luzia and Alegria, and my mind was blown over and over again with them.
However, Kooza was really dissapointing. The emotional artistry of the first 2 shows was so well crafted and all acts were interwoven into each other for a massive climax of characters, music and emotion. I shed tears during Alegria.
None of that is part of Kooza. This show was just a regular circus with extremely high level performers. But no big scale story to hook you in. Save your money. Cirque Du Soleil has much better to offer.

WASTE OF MONEY
All clowns little action.

QUITE UNDERWHELMING
I have been fortunate enough to attend many Cirque shows over the years and this one was easily my least favourite. There were a couple neat acrobatics but way too much boring filler and very little emotional connection. I would recommend you skip this year and wait for a better show to come to town.

NO A CIRQUE SHOW ANYMORE
The acting was great. The performers new how to make things look hard yet the acrobatics and human capabilities seen I'm other shows was not there. This show I saw today was amateur or less with only a few having talent ..aka maybe 2 of the acrobats. This doesn't live up to my expectations of having watched over 10 cirque due soleil shows all over the world.

BORING
This is my fourth circ performance over the span of a couple decades, so I had high expectations going in. Unfortunately I found myself feeling bored for 80% of it. The plot was a bit weird, with the main character just sort of watching each act. Childish clown humour made up about half of the show. There was a human dressed as a dog? Some of the performances included chair stacking, unicycle, and a yo-yo dancer. Probably a great show for kids, but I personally prefer previous performances with trapeze, Ariel performances, water, etc. Not up to par.
Bev from Vancouver, British Columbia
DISAPPOINTING
Just returned from show after spending $900. for 4 grandkids & 2 grandparents. Not worth the money to see the clowns chasing each other around. Silly stuff. The main acrobatics were amazing, but way too much unnecessary filler . Where were the trapeze artists? Would not go again I’m afraid.
What happened?

NOT THE USUAL CIRQUE STANDARD
I went to the Vancouver performance last night, and I must say, this was a most disappointing production. While there were some heart stopping acrobatics, most of this show was filler, which became tiring and tedious, very quickly. The best act was the wheels of death, to which we had an obscured view due to the position of the safety nets. The usual excitement and magical sensory overload was missing from this performance, and I would recommend waiting for a better show. Our audience neighbours mumbled, “this is so boring » and left at intermission. This is not what I was expecting from a Cirque du Soleil production.

KOOZA IS VERY UNDERWHELMING
Of all the Cirque shows I’ve seen, this is the first one that disappointed. Way way too much filler. The show is 100 minutes of which at least half if not more was taken up by stupid clowns running around on stage. People spend good money to go to a Cirque shown to watch the performances and not clowns running around the stage. Very disappointing and would not recommend

NO WHEEL OF DEATH
Was looking forward to this for months. So sad. Definitely upset the finale was missing; that was why I bought my tickets was for that.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
Hello,
I am writing to express my sincere disappointment with the Cirque du Soleil show that I recently attended. Unfortunately, I must say that it was a complete waste of money. Despite my high expectations, the performance did not live up to the hype and was not worth a penny.
I had been looking forward to seeing the show for a long time, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The performance lacked creativity, and the acts were not well-executed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that left me feeling dissatisfied.
While I understand that others may have enjoyed the show, I cannot recommend it based on my personal experience. I hope that in the future, the Cirque du Soleil company will work to improve the quality of their performances and provide a more entertaining experience for their audiences.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Carlos Calamateo
