A true legend associated with Californian folk-rock, James Taylor is one of the most personal and intimate songwriters, who continues to make fresh, new artistic triumphs a mere forty years after his breakthrough album.
In a career that started off with a bang in 1960's NYC, by way of Swingin' London and a cool collaboration with the Beatles, it was 1970 that brought Sweet Baby James (and his eponymous record) to public notice, displaying an epic and haunting maturity that seemed far beyond his 22 years and leading to his becoming part of a peerless group that defined that era, including Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and many more. More recently he has inspired and worked with country mega-star Taylor Swift.
Expect such hits from the five-time Grammy Award Winner as 'Fire and Rain', 'Country Road', 'Something In The Way She Moves', 'Mexico', 'Shower The People', 'Your Smiling Face', 'Carolina In My Mind', 'Sweet Baby James', in an always incredible performance.

A man for all seasons
James Taylor, his voice is as good as ever, so charismatic and he has killer musicians. Top notch. Such a Latin flair and at times super jazzy, in the best way. The violinist added great texture.
Shower the People was a love in, phones alight flickering and swaying in the darkness. The stage backdrop and lighting were so beautiful throughout the night.
It’s evident he has lived a life and came across with humility, reminiscent at times of the wonderful Leonard Cohen.

Seeing James Taylor
I went and saw you in Buffalo New York area many years ago. Went with my daughter and my daughter's best friend. It was in the early 90's. We had a wonderful time. We would love if you could come in the Phoenix Az area sometime soon.. She is a mom of three and has been a school teacher for 26 years and is devoted to every one of students. Seeing you would be a great gift from me to her. We are not that far from San Diego, Cal. We would have to drive most of a day and have to stay overnight. That is out of what I could spend, being a 78 year old senior.
We are long time fan, especially my daughter Stacy.
I watched you on Stephen Colbert on his Thursday, 2/06/2026 show. Was that your son who played guitars and sang together, Henry?
