Noel and his High Flying Birds rock Montreal
Britpop icon Noel Gallgher and his band The High Flying Birds arrive in Montreal as part of Fest International de Jazz de Montreal. One of the most famous songwriters of the 1990s, Gallagher wrote some of the decades most indelible rock anthems as a member of Oasis, which were all delivered with snarly greatness by his brother Liam on lead vocals. Since the famously acrimonious siblings went their separate ways, Gallgher has poured his talent into his new band Noel Gallgher's High Flying Birds, who released their second record Chasing Yesterday last year.
Catch Noel playing cuts from his latest band alongside Oasis classics, including Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Half the World Away.
